Staff Data Engineer

My client is a US based FinTech leader who are outperforming the competition across all realms and show absolutely no signs of slowing down. With a £10 million investment and two local well-known technologists at the helm

The new office will be situated in Derry/Londonderry, but the roles will be fully remote. The office is there if you want it, but other than that you’re free to work from wherever is most comfortable

The Role

Leverage advanced data modelling skills for multi TB storage scenarios

Develop a comprehensive cloud-based DW architecture

Enable the platform from ground up, ensuring it’s flexible, robust and performant

Implement and maintain data integrations between on-prem and enterprise cloud services (AWS/Azure)

Tech

Previous relevant experience with advanced SQL knowledge (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL etc)

Experience with scripting languages (Python,Powershell)

Experience with cloud DW solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, Bigquery etc)

Experience in working in an agile environment
