Your new role

You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction related discipline and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar environment. You will report directly to the Commercial Director and work closely with the Operational & Estimating Team to ensure the highest quality of work. Due to the location of projects in the UK you will be expected to travel 1 day per week.


What you’ll need to succeed

You will be responsible for the preparation and management of project budgets. This includes the preparation of costs, values and reconciliation reports on each development. Main duties will include liaising frequently with the purchasing/buying department and being able to maintain working relationships with the site team and subcontractors. You will also be responsible for the valuation and agreement of the cost of any variations, attending internal hand-over meetings and identifying labour, material requirements, and sourcing and obtaining quotations where applicable. Along with this you will be conducting site measurements on a weekly basis whilst also being responsible for the commercial control of subcontract packages.
