IT Programme Manager
MCS Group are excited at the opportunity to once again be working with this multinational Fintech at the forefront of technology in their area and a globally establish brand. Seeking to add an experienced IT Programme Manager to the team for a 6-month contract.
6 months Contract with an attractive Daily Rate.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action. defining the programme’s governance arrangements.
Be the main point of contact for the specific project and scrum teams.
Enable delivery of the enterprise level development activities in line with the standard organisation wide operating & reporting structures.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without blame or judgement, with an emphasis on resolution and problem solving.
Previous involvement working with software development teams in an Agile environment is essential.
Liaise between key members of projects to help resolve any concerns and issues that arise through the duration of the contract.
Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Collaborate within the PMO function to drive organisation wide improvements.
The Candidate
Previous experience as a Scrum Master working in Agile methodologies is a must
Experience with teams working in multiple time zones
Strong communication and customer facing skills.
Self-starter with strong organisation and resolution management skills
Experience with Agile Application Life cycle Management and development tools like Rally, Confluence Wiki and JIRA.
