We are increasing our footprint in Brunei through a 100-day boot camp (Accelerate) on behalf of the Brunei Government and we are looking for Teaching Assistant to assist in the facilitation of training for the boot camp/accelerator programmes.
Teaching Assistant
You will be working under the instruction/guidance of the Trainers of GE Learning and undertake work / support the delivery of training across all our client base and where required, work with subject matter experts and members of the team to curate lessons. You are expected to assist in producing reports regarding the training activities when required.
You will be reporting to the Training Associate with a dotted line to the Managing Partner of Golden Equator Learning and the Country Head of Golden Equator Brunei, as well as working with cross-functional teams to ensure the Learning experience meets the business goals and objectives.
The candidate must have some experience in assisting training to foster a positive learning environment; be comfortable with technology; able to convey objectives clearly, and a good analytical and planning skills to assess training needs and assist in developing programs to meet those needs.
The role is for a one (1) year contract inclusive of three (3) months’ probation and may lead to a Full-Time role.
Responsibilities
Assisting Training Delivery
Assist in the planning of informal and formal learning materials and activities that is both engaging and effective based on the competency levels of learners
Undertake structured and agreed to learn activities to align course objectives
Assist Trainers in evaluating the competency levels of learners
Assist with the delivery of online and offline classroom lessons
Learning Technologies
Use technology effectively across multiple platforms as a training and development solution to address specific training needs
Support and monitor learners’ assignments and progress on GE Learning platform
Update learning materials and assignments on GE Learning platform
Evaluate Feedback
Assist in the preparation of feedback forms/ surveys for the learners and clients
Collect and interpret the data of the feedback forms/ surveys
Scheduling and Coordination
Liaise with Trainers regarding the daily/weekly programme of activities and events.
Point of contact for learners to coordinate coaching sessions
Organise calendar events and meetings in delivering programme timeline and deliverables
Set out, prepare and provide technical support for online classes
Requirements
● Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience
● Minimum Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Management or Entrepreneurship, or similar field
● Basic Microsoft Office skills and tech-savvy
● Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
● Strong attention to detail, team player, empathy, and self-motivated
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Proficient in the English language and Bahasa Melayu (optional: Mandarin)
