What is the point?

On occasion, you come across something, and its stops you in your tracks, and all you can seriously think is ‘What is the point?’

Real Life Examples:

I once witnessed a customer (when I was a banking assistant) lodge cash in their bank account at the counter with me, only to proceed instantly to the ATM to withdraw it all out

Late one night in a chip-shop, I listened intently to a man order a Cheeseburger, with no cheese

I, myself, phoned my Dad’s landline or ‘house-phone’ (as we call it) and asked him where he was!
